Investment management and stockbroking firm Redmayne-Bentley has been named ‘Best Advisory Service’ at the City of London Wealth Management Awards 2017.
The accolade was presented at the awards ceremony at the Guildhall, London, last night (30th March).
Stuart Davis, Investments Partner, said: “We strive to provide clients with outstanding Advisory Managed and Advisory Dealing services and we are delighted to have been chosen to receive this award. The fact this has been voted for by our clients makes this award all the more special to us.”
It is the fourth consecutive year in which Redmayne-Bentley has received a City of London Wealth Management Award, having been named ‘Best ISA Provider’ in 2016 and 2015, and ‘Stockbroker of the Year’ in 2014.
It also follows the firm’s success in November 2016, when it was also named ‘Best Stockbroker for Customer Service’ at the Investors Chronicle and Financial Times Investment and Wealth Management Awards.
One client, who has been with Redmayne-Bentley for around 40 years, recently said: “Through the years, Redmayne-Bentley has advised on my personal portfolio and those of my husband and mother. Today they handle the assets of the occupational pension funds of my husband and even though we retired overseas some 14 years ago, I have nothing but praise for Redmayne-Bentley. My relationship with my investment manager of some 20 years is excellent and despite living overseas, we manage to meet once a year and in between we regularly communicate via email and or telephone.”
Redmayne-Bentley’s Advisory Managed Service is specifically designed to assist clients who wish to take an active role in managing their portfolio. Stuart Davis explained: “We take the time to understand our clients’ individual investment objectives, based on face-to-face meetings and regular communication. This is something we are very proud of and believe sets us apart from our competitors in today’s ever-increasing impersonalised world.”
In addition, through its Dealing with Advice service, for a fixed fee, clients can access share dealing advice from a qualified stockbroker, enabling them to make informed decisions before executing a trade. This personalised service can help provide the information and reassurance a client needs – for example, during times of market volatility.
Stuart said: “The past year has been an extraordinary one for investors, and many will be wondering what the future holds for their investments, especially in light of recent events such as this week’s triggering of Article 50 and Donald Trump’s continued impact on global markets. But whatever the future holds, we will continue to provide the best possible customer service.”
