WORKING WITH REDMAYNE BENTLEY

At Redmayne Bentley we provide a wealth of experience in bespoke investment management and stockbroking. Our office locations allow us to offer a high-quality service to match the specific needs of your clients wherever they are located.

We emphasise a genuinely bespoke approach to investment management, and we believe it is important to develop strong relationships with both you and your clients, based on trust and mutual understanding. We aim to provide a personal service which delivers high-quality investment management, with good long-term performance.

A MUTUALLY-BENEFICIAL  PARTNERSHIP

We can work with you to help you:

  • Reduce your risk - you transfer the investment risk to us.
  • Maintain your income - we can pay you based on our current understanding of the RDR rules providing the client has agreed to this payment and you maintain a relationship with your client, reviewing their situation regularly.
  • Maintain your client relationships - you choose whether we communicate through you or direct with your client, with copies to you.
  • Service all your clients - we offer our Advisory and Discretionary Investment Management Services from £50,000. Execution-Only Stockbroking and our Dealing with Advice service are also available for clients who wish to make their own investment decisions.
  • Manage the relationship effectively - use our Intermediary Web Access (IWA) service to view all your clients’ portfolios online, subject to client consent.
  • Grow your client base - there is the potential for cross referrals of Redmayne Bentley clients who require financial advice.

OUR SERVICE LEVELS

We offer a range of investment management and stockbroking services:

Advisory INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT Service

The Advisory Investment Management Service is designed for clients with all levels of experience who want to take an active interest and be in control of the construction and ongoing maintenance of their portfolio, but wish to take advice on the strategy employed and the assets to be held.

Discretionary INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT Service

The Discretionary Investment Management Service can be tailored to suit your clients’ individual circumstances, objectives and timescales. For instance, a portfolio can be constructed to provide regular income to pay for school fees or to supplement a pension, or an increased risk profile to try to achieve higher levels of capital growth for when it may be needed in future years.

Inheritance Tax (IHT) Portfolio Service

The Inheritance Tax (IHT) Portfolio Service is designed to help limit the effect of inheritance tax without limiting access to and ownership of the capital. By taking advantage of Business Relief on qualifying shares your client can claim 100% tax relief once the investments have been held for two years.

Dealing with Advice Service

Our Dealing with Advice service is designed to assist clients on a proactive or reactive basis, providing advice on individual transactions. However, investments are not monitored on an ongoing or holistic basis which is the case with our Advisory Investment Management Service.

Execution-only STOCKBROKING Service

Our Execution-Only Stockbroking Service provides access to global markets for clients who wish to make their own investment decisions.

Intermediary WEB ACCESS (IWA)

Our dedicated Intermediary Web Access (IWA) site allows you access to view all of your clients' portfolios securely and online.
