Company Overview

Montanaro UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC is a closed-ended investment trust. The Company's investment objective is capital appreciation through investing in small, quoted companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) or traded on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and to outperform its benchmark, the Numis Smaller Companies Index (excluding investment companies) (NSCI). The Company seeks to achieve its objective and to manage risk by investing in a diversified portfolio of quoted United Kingdom small companies. The Company's investment portfolio includes investments in various sectors, such as technology, telecommunications, health care, financials, real estate, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, industrials, basic materials, energy and utilities.
