Botswana Diamonds says pair of licences covering Kalahari Desert renewed for further two years

Botswana Diamonds said a pair of exploration licences held by the company's subsidiary Sunland Minerals had been renewed for an additional two years to 30 September 2021.

Licences PL232 and PL235, covering just over 500sq kms and located in the central Kalahari Desert, indicated proximity to kimberlite pipes, which regional geology suggested may be attractive in size and grade, the company said.

'Botswana Diamonds had already identified prospective drill ready targets. The intensive work included aeromagnetic surveys, ground magnetic surveys, soil sampling and target selection,' it added.

At 9:20am: (LON:BOD) Botswana Diamonds PLC share price was +0.02p at 0.51p
