Codemasters plans later release of GRID to take advantage of more 'favourable' launch window

Video game developer and publisher Codemasters decided to delay the release of its racing game GRID to take advantage of a more ‘favourable’ launch window during the peak release season, and closer to the November launch of Google's cloud gaming service Stadia.

GRID would be released on 11 October, rather than the 13 September 2019 as initially announced on 22 May.

‘The Company's expectations for GRID, and its contribution to the current financial year, remain unchanged,’ Codemasters said.
