Metals Exploration gets debt payment extension until end January

Metals Exploration said it had received consent from its senior lenders for a waiver of $35.6m of payments until 31 January.

The waiver covered capital payments that were due in each of the quarters ending 31 December 2017, 31 March 2018, 30 June 2018, 30 September 2018 and 31 December 2018.

The waiver came with a commitment by the company to complete a restructuring of its senior debt facility of $63.8m by 31 January 2019.

Work was currently underway to achieve that objective, the company said. At 1:11pm: (LON:MTL) Metals Exploration PLC share price was +0.13p at 1.63p
