Metal Tiger says early work has commenced at Kalahari copper prospect

Metal Tiger said early exploration work had commenced at the Kalahari Copper belt in Botswana.

The company was exposed to the prospect through its holding in Kalahari Metals, a company which it had an option to acquire up to 50%.

New Resolution Geophysics had been contracted to conduct airborne high-resolution magnetic and electromagnetic surveys on the prospective Okavango project and Ngami copper project concessions.

Both airborne surveys were scheduled to start in July with processed results expected in September.

'We are very pleased to announce the start of what will, no doubt, be an exciting and hopefully rewarding exploration programme,' chief executive Michael McNeilly said.
