Rotork's veteran finance boss to retire next year

(Sharecast News) - Industrial valve manufacturer Rotork has announced that long-standing finance chief Jonathan Davies is to retire early next year. The company, which makes flow control solutions for the oil and gas, water, energy and industrial sectors, said in a statement on Tuesday that Davis, who has been finance director since 2010, will be replaced by Ben Peacock, currently vice president of finance and IT at Weir Group's minerals division.

The transition is expected to happen some time in the first quarter of 2024.

Davis, who has been with the company for a total of 21 years, said: "I am extremely proud of all that we have achieved over these years and believe that the Company is well placed under [CEO] Kiet Huynh's leadership to deliver the Growth+ strategy."

On the appointment of Peacock, Huynh said: "Ben brings with him industry knowledge as well as a strong track record of finance expertise within complex businesses."
