Director dealings: Premier Foods non-exec sells, buys back shares

(Sharecast News) - Premier Foods found itself on both sides of the ledger on Tuesday, after it disclosed a share sale and two purchases made by one of its non-executive directors. The manufacturer of brands including Oxo and Ambrosia said Tim Elliott sold 10,000 shares on 19 May in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.

Elliott sold the shares for 132.2p each, valuing the transaction at £13,220.00.

On the same date, Elliott bought stock in the company in two transactions in London, with the first for 9,939 shares.

He paid 132.2p for those shares, giving the investment a value of £13,139.36.

In the second transaction, he picked up 2,500 shares for 131.24p apiece, making the second and final purchase worth £3,281.00.

At 1621 BST, shares in Premier Foods were up 1.24% at 130.4p.
