Company Overview

HgCapital Trust plc is a United Kingdom-based investment company. The Company's objective is to provide shareholders with consistent long-term returns in excess of the FTSE All-Share Index by investing predominantly in unquoted companies where value can be created through strategic and operational change. The Company's investments are focused on a range of sub-sectors within the software and technology-enabled business services in industry verticals located throughout Europe and North America. The policy of the Company is to invest, directly or indirectly, in a portfolio of unlisted companies where it believes that it can add value through increasing organic growth, generating operational improvements, driving margin expansion, recognition or acquisition, to achieve scale.
