Columbus Energy production contract in Trinidad extended to December 2021

Columbus Energy Resources said a production services contract in Trinidad had been extended to allow for the implementation of a carbon dioxide pilot project.

The Inniss Trinity incremental production sharing contract had been extended to December 2021, from January 2020.

Executive chairman said the pilot project could potentially offer valuable insight into an alternative enhanced oil recovery mechanism for Trinidad.
