Steve prides himself on providing a very traditional service to private clients, many of whom he has advised for well over 20 years. He started on the market floor as a 'blue button' with R J Thompson & Co. in 1970. After passing further Stock Exchange exams, Steve became a member of the London Stock Exchange and a partner of R J Thompson and Co. Following the takeover of R J Thompson & Co. in 1989 he eventually joined Southard Gilbey McNish & Co. in 1992 as an associate. Walker Crips took over Southard Gilbey & Co. in December 2002 and Steve spent two years as an associate before being asked to join the private client team as an Associate Director. Steve joined Redmayne Bentley in 2016.
