Richard Norman

Richard is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and manages discretionary portfolios for private clients, trusts, and pensions. He also provides execution-only and probate services to private clients and intermediaries.
 
Born and brought up in South Devon, Richard is a graduate of City University, London and has been working in the stockbroking industry since 1998.
 
Richard worked in London and Dublin, where he was responsible for systems implementation at various banks and brokers, including Citigroup, Charles Stanley, Davy and Goodbody. He then moved to Birmingham, where he was a founding Partner of JHC Securities (which was taken over by OMX Group and then bought by TD Waterhouse). At JHC Securities, he worked with Jarvis Securities, Fiske, Abbey Stockbrokers and Haywood Securities before moving into the private client team in 2006.
 
He returned to Exeter and joined Redmayne Bentley in November 2010.
 
Outside work, he can be found enjoying family life in the Blackdown Hills, along with his wife, three daughters and two spaniels. Although the girls would argue that supporting both Exeter Chiefs and Somerset County Cricket Club, as well as playing golf and cricket, still take priority.
