Redmayne Bentley championing employee success!

Investment management and stockbroking firm Redmayne Bentley is proud to announce that it is sponsoring its very own triathlete Lynda Chase, as she competes in the 2021 World Triathlon Championship Finals taking place in Edmonton, Canada.

Lynda has been with the firm for 7 years and is an IT Developer at Redmayne Bentley’s London office. Outside of work she has been competing in triathlons for over 25 years.

In addition to the 2021 World Triathlon Championship Finals in the 65-69 category during the weekend of the 21st to 22nd August 2021, the firm’s sponsorship covers all regional, national and international events that Lynda is competing in throughout 2021.

After the World Championships, she will be on the European stage competing in the ITU European Standard Distance Championships in Valencia, Spain in September.

Lynda has previously achieved podium finishes at European level with one silver and two bronze medals. In 2019, Lynda took part in the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final held in Lausanne, Switzerland, and achieved 10th place in the 65-69 female category.

David Loudon, Joint-Chief Executive of Redmayne Bentley said:
“Lynda’s international achievements are testament to her strong commitment and dedication. We are proud to support Lynda in 2021 and wish her all the very best for the season ahead.”

With COVID-19 putting on the brakes on most sporting events in 2020, Lynda hasn’t been deterred and has maintained a resolute focus on competing.

Commenting on the sponsorship and the upcoming triathlon season, Lynda said:
“I’m grateful to Redmayne Bentley for their support, particularly as the sponsorship enables the financial support required to compete in four international events. I am very proud to be representing the firm and wearing my branded kit.

“Following COVID, I look forward to being able to get back to competing. As we emerge from lockdown, I’m able to train in the gyms and a swimming pool, albeit fighting for a space in the water as everyone struggles to make up for time spent without facilities.

“I am very fortunate that I have a great coach, that was able to get out on the roads for run training and to use my Wattbike throughout lockdown, to keep up my fitness.”

Another key event for Lynda is the World Triathlon Championship Series event in Leeds on 6th June. Leeds is the home of Redmayne Bentley’s head office, but more importantly this event provides Lynda with the opportunity to become the British champion in her age group.
