Redmayne Bentley has thanked investors who voted for the firm to be named ‘Best ISA Provider’ and ‘Regional Wealth Management Company of the Year: North of England’ at a prestigious financial award ceremony.
The national investment management and stockbroking firm’s double success was announced at the City of London Wealth Management Awards 2018.
Speaking after the ceremony at The Guildhall, London, last night (28th March 2018), David Loudon, Joint Chief Executive, said: “We would like to thank everyone who voted for us to receive such important awards. Providing an outstanding customer service, upholding our values of high standards and integrity, is as important to us as it is to our clients.
“As investors will be aware, these are extraordinary times, and we expect uncertainty to continue as we prepare to exit the EU on 29th March 2019. Given the challenges of unprecedented economic events we are finding more investors are choosing to entrust the day-to-day running of their portfolios to our experienced and knowledgeable investment managers.
“We are, of course, very proud of our history, having been established by John Redmayne in Leeds in 1875. The award for Regional Wealth Management Company recognises our roots in the North of England and our development to today’s status as one of the leading independent investment management and stockbroking firms offering services throughout the UK and beyond.
“And to be named Best ISA Provider is all the more pleasing, particularly as it comes near the end of the current tax year, a very busy time for all of us but especially for our ISA team.
“While at least one UK interest rate rise is expected in 2018, rates are expected to remain low, and this will mean Stocks & Shares ISAs remain an attractive investment for many. Investing in the stock market has some risk, however, for investors prepared to invest for the longer term, who understand and are comfortable with the level of risk now may be a good time to make the most of the opportunities Stocks & Shares ISAs can bring.”
For the 2018/19 tax year, UK residents can subscribe up to £20,000 in an ISA, either as cash, investments held in a Stocks & Shares ISA, or a combination of both.
The awards are the latest in a long line for Redmayne Bentley, having also been named ‘Best Advisory Service’ at last year’s City of London Wealth Management Awards and ‘Best Full Service Stockbroker’ at the Investors Chronicle/Financial Times Investment and Wealth Management Awards in November. Redmayne Bentley was also awarded ‘Best ISA Provider’ at the City of London Wealth Management Awards in 2015 and 2016.
Please note, investments can fall as well as rise in value.
