Vodafone names Pilar López as CFO designate

(Sharecast News) - Telecommunications firm Vodafone tapped Pilar López to take over as chief financial officer, with effect from 1 October. Pilar will succeed Luka Mucic and will begin a period of handover before her formal appointment as CFO on 1 December.

Chief executive Margherita Della Valle said: "I am delighted that Pilar will be joining Vodafone in October. She has deep-rooted knowledge of both the telecoms and technology sectors, across a range of international leadership positions.

"Following a significant period of change at Vodafone, Pilar is joining us as we continue to drive operational excellence across the group."
