Director dealings: Foresight Solar Fund chairman designate snaps up shares

(Sharecast News) - Foresight Solar Fund revealed on Friday that chairman-designate Tony Roper had acquired 40,000 ordinary shares in the London-listed investment trust. Roper, who was tapped for chairman-designate in February, purchased the shares on Thursday at an average price of 80.75p each, for a total value of £32,300.

Following the transaction, Roper now has an interest in 55,000 ordinary Foresight shares and indirectly has an interest in a further 34,725 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.0147% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1530 BST, Foresight shares were down 0.014% at 80.89p.
