Raspberry Pi sees annual core earnings of at least $36m

(Sharecast News) - Low-cost computer platform maker Raspberry Pi said it expected to make annual adjusted core earnings of at least $36m. The company, which makes small single-board computers for enthusiasts and listed in London last June, said gross profit from the sale of accessories and microcontrollers was strong in the second half.

It added that demand was expected to build gradually through the year, "despite a challenging macroeconomic backdrop and market conditions reported by the wider industrial sector".

"Medium-term fundamentals remain extremely positive. The company has a sufficient supply of memory to meet expected demand into the third quarter of this year, giving it confidence in its unit economics for full-year 2025," Raspberry Pi said in a trading statement.

"In addition, the Company is encouraged by an increasing number of direct discussions with major prospective original equipment manufacturer customers."
