Director dealings: Sysgroup chairman raises stake

(Sharecast News) - Sysgroup revealed on Tuesday that chairman Heejae Chae had acquired 800,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed IT service management firm. Chae, who took over as chairman in July 2023, purchased the shares on Friday at an average price of 17.45p each, for a total value of £139,600.

Following the transaction, Chae holds a beneficial interest in 8.67m ordinary Sysgroup shares, representing approximately 10.39% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1615 GMT, Sysgroup shares were up 7.19% at 18.49p.
