Concurrent Technologies secures 'major' VME product order

(Sharecast News) - Computer products manufacturer Concurrent Technologies said on Monday that it has secured a "major" VME product order from a long-term European customer. Concurrent Technologies said it has received "a significant order" for the company's VME-based 6U computer boards from a long-standing European customer, for a total value of £3.4m.

The AIM-listed group stated the order was scheduled to be delivered throughout 2025, 2026 and 2027.

Concurrent said the "significant commitment" from the group's long-standing European customer underscores Concurrent's strategy of support for the VME standard, ensuring continuity for customers reliant on reliable, backwards-compatible solutions.

Chief revenue officer Brent Salgat said: "This order demonstrates the strength of our core business offering and validates our strategic decision to maintain and enhance the VME product line for long-term customer needs. By combining reliable legacy support with cutting-edge processor technology, we offer a compelling value proposition that fosters customer loyalty and reinforces our position as a trusted partner in mission-critical markets."

As of 1140 GMT, Concurrent shares were up 2.81% at 183.00p.
