Great Portland Estates announces ITN lease renewal at Gray's Inn Road

(Sharecast News) - Property group Great Portland Estates has announced that broadcaster ITN has renewed two leases at its media hub near Farringdon, committing to a further 10 years. ITN has renewed both of its leases for 117,000 square feet of workspace at 200 and 214 Gray's Inn Road in WC1, occupying 40% of the total floor area across the two properties where it produces news programming for ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

The broadcaster has committed to annual rent of £4.1m from March 2025, with a break in the contract at year five.

The 287,900 sq ft building, a Foster + Partners designed building currently undergoing renovations, is a 50:50 joint venture between Great Portland Estates and Ropemaker Properties.

"We are delighted that ITN has renewed its leases at 200 Gray's Inn Road and committed to the building for a further 10 years," said GPE's chief executive Toby Courtauld.
