International Public Partnerships gets new lead portfolio manager

(Sharecast News) - International Public Partnerships said Friday that its investment adviser Amber Infrastructure had appointed Jamie Hossain as its lead portfolio manager, effective 1 September, succeeding Chris Morgan after a handover period. The FTSE 250 company said Hossain, a senior investment director at Amber, had been part of INPP's portfolio management team since its 2006 IPO and played "an integral role in the company's strategy, portfolio construction and performance" since 2009.

"The board welcomes Jamie's appointment and the continuity of support and expertise which it represents," said chair Mike Gerrard.

"We also wish to thank Chris for his outstanding contribution to the company, particularly over the last six years and wish him every future success."

Amber's team supporting INPP would otherwise remain unchanged.

Hossain and colleagues were due to present interim results for the six months to 30 June on 4 September.

At 1514 BST, shares in International Public Partnerships were up 0.45% at 121.55p.
