German factory orders post surprise fall in June

(Sharecast News) - German factory orders fell unexpectedly last month, missing consensus forecasts, according to official data published on Wednesday. Orders were down 1% compared with a fall of 0.8% in May and expectations of a 1% rise.

New orders in other transport equipment, including aircraft, ships, trains, and military vehicles, fell 23.1% month on month said the federal statistics office.
