FTSE 100 movers: Entain gains on Deutsche Bank note; Ashtead falls

(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 100 was up 0.2% at 8,854.72 in afternoon trade on Wednesday. Entain was a high riser as Deutsche Bank hiked its price target on the Ladbrokes owner to 1,122p from 958p after the company upgraded its guidance for BetMGM following a strong first half from the US division.

Deutsche Bank rates the stock at 'buy'.

BA and Iberia owner IAG was also in the black following recent heavy losses, fuelled by rising oil prices.

Equipment rental firm Ashtead was the worst performer on the index a day after the release of its full-year results.
