Red Rock Resources reports progress with DRC arbitration

(Sharecast News) - Natural resource explorer and developer Red Rock Resources updated the market on its ongoing arbitration process in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) on Friday, reporting that after a scheduled meeting in Kinshasa on 22 January, the arbitrator had advised the parties involved to exchange any additional supporting documents and explore the possibility of reaching a consensus on the arrangements before the matter was finalised. The AIM-traded company confirmed that discussions would continue over the coming days as it seeked to resolve the dispute through mutual agreement where possible.

It said it remained engaged in the process, and would provide further updates as developments progress.

"The parties are all looking to finalise this matter. Yesterday's working meetings achieved more progress than the last 29 months, and we are relieved to now be in a process designed to expedite settlement," said chairman Andrew Bell.

At 1601 GMT, shares in Red Rock Resources were down 5.82% at 0.05p.
