FTSE 250 movers: Vistry rises; gold miners lose their shine

(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 250 was down 0.8% at 24,477.32 in afternoon trade on Friday. There wasn't much going on, but housebuilder Vistry Group rose ahead of a trading update next Thursday, while pub group Wetherspoons gained ahead of an update on Wednesday.

Single board computer maker Raspberry Pi and Polar Capital Technology Trust were both weaker following the tech selloff on Wall Street. Polar Capital Tech counts Nvidia, Microsoft and Apple among its top 10 holdings.

Gold miners Pan African Resources and Endeavour Mining both lost their shine as gold prices fell.
