JTC trading in line with expectations

(Sharecast News) - JTC said on Thursday first-half trading was in line with management expectations as the professional services group continued preparations for its £2.7bn takeover by Permira and transitioned to its new Genesis-era business plan. The £13.40-per-share cash acquisition received shareholder approval in January, with remaining regulatory approvals progressing and completion expected in the third quarter of 2026.

The FTSE 250 group also completed the integration of Citi's global fiduciary and trust administration business and Kleinwort Hambros Trust Company during the period.

"The integration of the Citi Trust and KHT acquisitions has been achieved as planned and further strengthened our global platform," said chief executive Nigel Le Quesne.

"We remain well positioned to continue growing both organically and through further disciplined acquisitions."

At 1200 BST, shares in JTC were flat at 1,324p.
