Man Group posts record H1 AUM, net inflows ahead of industry

(Sharecast News) - Man Group reported record assets under management on Tuesday, with net inflows ahead of the industry. In the six months to the end of June, assets under management rose to $253.6bn from $227.6bn at the end of December 2025. Man Group highlighted a positive investment performance of $19.8bn, up 0.4% relative to peers, and net inflows of $7.1bn, 3.4% ahead of the industry.

The hedge fund said that in a competitive environment for fundraising, it saw positive net flows across all four of its categories. Momentum was particularly notable across its long-only range, it said, while demand for customised solutions continued within liquid alternatives.

Chief executive Robyn Grew said: "We delivered a strong first half, which demonstrates the evolution of Man Group; the exceptional net inflows and record AUM we are reporting today are the direct result of deliberate, multi-year investments in the diversification of our business. We are now seeing the benefits compound into broad-based growth.

"In short, our strategy is working. We will continue to invest in the firm to extend our edge, scaling our credit, quant equity, and multi-strat capabilities to deepen the relationships we have with allocators globally.

"In today's markets, clients are consolidating their relationships with a smaller number of highly capable, strategic partners who can help them manage complex risk and growing macroeconomic uncertainty."

At 0918 BST, the shares were up 5.5% at 316.60p.
