Big Technologies reports improve revenue, earnings

(Sharecast News) - Big Technologies said on Monday that first-half revenue rose 6% at constant currency to £26.9m, while annual recurring revenue increased 5% to £53.2m. Adjusted EBITDA climbed 14% to £14.2m, lifting the margin to 53% from 50%, while adjusted free cash flow increased 42% to £9.6m.

The AIM-traded electronic monitoring group ended June with £67.1m of cash after making £33.4m of settlement payments relating to the Buddi litigation.

It said recent contract wins in Chile, Guatemala and the US, alongside new AlcoTag and AlcoBreath products, left it well positioned for further growth in the second half and beyond.

At 1149 BST, shares in Big Technologies were up 0.79% at 99.18p.
