  The Company will purchase the above Ordinary Shares through the Broker on the London Stock Exchange (the "Purchases") and will subsequently cancel them.   Such Purchases form part of the Company's existing buyback programme and were effected pursuant to the non-discretionary agreement entered into with the Broker, as announced on 1st December 2025.   Following the Purchases and cancellation of these Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 177,532,031 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares), hold 42,041 Ordinary Shares in treasury, and have 594,610,458 non-cumulative redeemable preference shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company ("B Shares") in issue. B Shares carry no rights to attend, speak or vote at Company meetings, except on a resolution relating to the winding up of the Company.   Once the Ordinary Shares are cancelled, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 177,532,031.
