Friday preview: US consumer confidence, Fed speak in focus

(Sharecast News) - The market spotlight at the end of the week will continue to be on the US. At 1500 BST, the University of Michigan will release the preliminary results of its consumer confidence survey for the month of October.

Also scheduled for Friday are speeches by regional Fed presidents, Mary Daly and Alberto Musalem at 0240 BST and 1800 BST, respectively.

Italian industrial production data for August are due to come out at 0900 BST.

Overnight, Japanese producer price figures for September will be published at 0050 BST, followed by a report on Chinese foreign investment for September at 1000 BST.
