PHSC taps Nikki Porter as its new CEO

(Sharecast News) - PHSC announced on Tuesday that Nikki Porter would be appointed chief executive officer and executive director from 13 October, succeeding acting CEO Nicola Coote, who would step down from the board on 10 October and leave the company at the end of the year. The AIM-traded firm said Porter would bring more than 20 years of experience in scaling software-as-a-service (SaaS) and B2B services businesses across the risk, safety and compliance sectors, with senior roles at Alcumus Group and BSI Group.

She started her career in marketing, and was expected to lead PHSC through current market challenges while pursuing strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.

"We are delighted to welcome Nikki to lead the team at PHSC," said chair Lorraine Young.

"The group faces both challenges and opportunities as it navigates the transition from being a founder-led business.

"We look forward to working closely with Nikki to take advantage of these opportunities and grow the business as we refresh and refine our strategy."

Coote, a co-founder of PHSC, had been acting CEO since January following Stephen King's departure.

She would remain employed until December to ensure a smooth handover.

At 1538 BST, PHSC shares were down 12.78% at 10.03p.
