Fintel reports strong first-half performance

(Sharecast News) - Fintel reported a strong first-half performance on Thursday, with organic adjusted EBITDA rising 11.2% to £11.8m as improved efficiency and growth across its core software, data and distribution activities supported margins. Organic revenue increased 2% to £37.4m, while total continuing revenue rose 5.3% to £38.6m following the acquisition of Pearson Ham's market pricing business.

SaaS and subscription revenue grew 7.9% to £26.1m, while total adjusted EBITDA increased 13.3% to £12.7m.

The AIM-traded financial technology and support services provider said trading for 2026 remained in line with board expectations, supported by growing demand for technology, data and regulatory services.

"We have delivered a strong first half performance, with organic growth across our core Software, Data and Distribution activities, continued expansion in recurring revenues and double-digit EBITDA growth," said chief executive Matt Timmins.

At the close on Thursday, shares in Fintel were up 1.56% at 195.5p.
