Empire Metals appoints general manager, senior adviser

(Sharecast News) - Empire Metals announced the appointment of Chris Dodds as general manager for project delivery and Emma Neale as senior adviser for approvals on Thursday, as it seeks to accelerate development of its Pitfield titanium project in Western Australia. The AIM-traded firm said the appointments are intended to strengthen the company's in-house capabilities as the project moves through feasibility studies towards commercial development.

Dodds brings more than 20 years of experience across mining, mineral processing and major capital projects, including senior roles at Alcoa, Wood and Iluka Resources.

Neale has more than 14 years of environmental approvals and permitting experience and will oversee the regulatory strategy for Pitfield.

At 1237 BST, shares in Empire Metals were up 2.54% at 39.99p.
