SigmaRoc revenue, earnings rise in first half

(Sharecast News) - SigmaRoc said on Thursday that first-half revenue rose 2.5% to £523.1m, while underlying EBITDA increased 11.3% to £131.2m and the EBITDA margin improved by 200 basis points to 25.1%. Underlying earnings per share grew 12.2% to 5.23p, free cash flow increased 8.2% to £67.0m and covenant leverage fell to 1.66 times from 2.04 times.

Like-for-like core volumes increased 1%, with stronger pricing and improved trading in industrial and environmental markets offsetting continued weakness in parts of construction.

The group maintained its full-year outlook for revenue of £1.07bn, underlying EBITDA of £276m, underlying earnings per share of 11.5p and leverage of 1.4 times.

At 1439 BST, shares in SigmaRoc were up 6.37% at 128.5p.
