FTSE 250 movers: WPP gains, Oxford Instruments slides

(Sharecast News) - FTSE 250 (MCX) 23,103.31 0.39%

WPP was the top gainer on the FTSE 250 after an initiation at 'buy' by Berenberg, while geotechnical contractor Keller gained after it was awarded a contract variation order in relation to the reconstruction of the I-40 highway in the US.

EasyJet gained as oil prices fell on hopes the fragile ceasefire in the Middle East would hold.

Oxford Instruments shares fell more than 6% on Tuesday morning despite the company reporting full-year results slightly ahead of expectations, as investors focused on weaker revenue, lower adjusted profit and pressure in its Advanced Technologies division.
