Distil brand wins listing with Scotland bar operator

(Sharecast News) - Distil said on Monday that its Blackwoods spirits brand has secured new on-trade listings with Buzzworks Holdings, extending its presence across the Scottish hospitality group's estate following a competitive tender process. The AIM-traded firm said Buzzworks, which operates 22 bars and restaurants across Scotland, listed Blackwoods Vodka for cocktail serves across all sites, including the pornstar martini and bloody mary, while the vodka was also selected for the Bradsell espresso martini in three Lido venues.

In addition, Blackwoods Gin and RedLeg Spiced Rum were added to Buzzworks' spirits menus.

Distil noted that eight of the venues are located within an hour of the Blackwoods Distillery, providing an opportunity to increase brand visibility and consumer engagement.

"These listings expand Blackwoods' on-trade presence in Scotland and introduce the brands to a well-respected operator with significant reach," said Sarah Kingsbury, marketing director at Distil.

She added that the Blackwoods team would work closely with Buzzworks Holdings to support the rollout, with agreed marketing activity focused on in-venue visibility and encouraging customer trial.

At 0953 GMT, shares in Distil were up 16.98% at 0.16p.
