WH Smith delays full-year results to December

(Sharecast News) - WH Smith said on Wednesday that it was delaying the release of its preliminary results for the financial year ended 31 August 2025 to allow time for Deloitte to finish its review.

The results have been pushed back to 16 December from 12 November.

WH Smith said the "independent and comprehensive" review being undertaken by Deloitte is expected to conclude by the end of November.

"The revised date will provide the company time to respond to the Deloitte Review and allow the group's auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, to complete the required audit procedures," the retailer said.
