James Latham revenues rising amid strong timber product demand

(Sharecast News) - James Latham said in an update on Wednesday that revenue rose to £133m in the four months ended 31 July, up from £127m a year earlier, with volumes increasing by 5.9%. The AIM-traded timber and panel products distributor, which was holding its annual general meeting, said margins remained consistent with the second half of last year, while overheads and profit were in line with market expectations.

It highlighted stronger demand for solid timber products as the main driver of higher volumes, adding that customer confidence and order books had improved compared with the same period in 2024.

Interim results for the six months to 30 September would be published on 27 November, the company confirmed.

At 0856 BST, shares in James Latham were down 1.98% at 1,088p.
