Lorraine started in stockbroking in 1979 when she joined the Dunfermline firm of Torrie & Co. She stayed with that firm through expansion into Edinburgh and was appointed office manager in 1989.
Lorraine took a break from the industry in 1994 but returned to it in 1999 when her former colleague Eric Spreng opened an office of Redmayne Bentley in her hometown in Dunfermline. When the Dunfermline and Perth offices merged in 2009, Lorraine moved to the new Perth office with Eric. Her primary focuses are on the execution-only side of the business and the Inheritance Tax Valuation Service, which she actively markets to solicitors. Lorraine is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Away from the office, Lorraine enjoys music, travel, and spending time with her ever-expanding family.
