Wednesday preview: US Treasury auction, Riksbank in focus

(Sharecast News) - Investors' focus in the middle of the week will be on the latest US Treasury auction results, given concerns in some quarters regarding public debt dynamics in the world's largest economy. At 1800 BST, the Treasury will sell $42bn in 10-year notes.

Earlier, at 1530 BST the Department of Energy will release its weekly crude oil inventory data.

Across the Channel meanwhile, Sweden's central bank will be closely watched to see if policymakers announce a 25 basis point cut to its main policy rate, to 3.75%, as expected by the consensus.

At 0700 BST Germany's ministry of Finance will publish German industrial production figures for March.

No major economic reports are scheduled for release in the UK on Wednesday.
