Standard Life completes merger with Aberdeen

Standard Life has completed its merger with Aberdeen Asset Management.

The company has been renamed Standard Life Aberdeen.

The ticker is changing from SL to SLA.

Keith Skeoch, co-chief executive of Standard Life Aberdeen, said: "Today marks the culmination of many months of hard work and preparation by our business and the beginning of a new chapter in our history as Standard Life Aberdeen plc.
