Higher losses at Messaging International

26 June 2015 10:16

Messaging International, the AIM traded company and provider of innovative messaging services, has reported a pre-tax loss in the year ended 31 December 2014 of £2,884,798 (2013: loss £92,073).

These results are after adjustment for a goodwill impairment of £2,550,000 (2013 - Nil).

The gross revenues were £3,607,978 (2013: £3,775,910).

The company said last year marked a transition year for its wholly owned subsidiary, TeleMessage, from its legacy text-to-landline product, into new offerings including the secure mobile messaging for enterprise solutions.

It has directed its R&D resources to the new product lines and, accordingly, increased its investment in marketing to support the change in target market including the implementation of automated sales and marketing systems, content creation and branding, all of which should lead to higher exposure to businesses and ultimately generate sales.
