Feedback to launch pilot study of medical communication app

Feedback said the first pilot study of its medical communications app would take place at Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in Manchester. The company also said it would halt its application to gain US approval for its medical image analysis technology as more data was needed.

'The strategic review for our TexRAD medical image analysis technology has reached the conclusion that further clinical data is required to support a US FDA submission; therefore, this process has been put on hiatus,' Feedback said.

The additional data would be provided by independent studies and the timing of the data supplied was outside the company's control.

The outcome of its medical communications app, Bleepa, would be used to provide the evidence base to support a number of commercial opportunities, Feedback added.
