BHP appoints Mike Henry as CEO

BHP said it had appointed Mike Henry as chief executive officer, effective from 1 January 2020.

Henry would replace Andrew Mackenzie who was set to retire as CEO on 31 December 2019.

Henry had 30 years' experience in the global mining and petroleum industry, spanning operational, commercial, safety, technology and marketing roles.
