Augean kicks off contact with Shell for decommissioning of North Sea kit

Augean said it had commenced a major contract supporting Shell's efforts to decommission redundant North Sea infrastructure.

The company said the start of the contract was marked by the arrival of the Curlew floating production storage and offloading vessel into the Port of Dundee.

Augean was providing specialised industrial cleaning and waste management services to Shell for the vessel, to ensure environmental compliance before it was dismantled and recycled later this year.
