Great Western Mining submits new permitting request for US gold prospect

Great Western Mining said it had submitted a revised notice to US authorities and was planning to drill a further two deep holes at its M2 copper and gold prospect.

The notice had been submitted for the existing permit to the United States Bureau of Land Management.

Approval was expected to be received in four to six weeks, with first drilling in the summer of this year.

Great Western Mining also said it had received a formal Project Initiation Letter from the United States Forest Service for its proposed 2019 drilling programme for the M4 prospect.

Final approval was expected after its internal review procedure, with drilling of six planned holes to commence late this summer.
