GCP Infra enters £64m investment commitment to fund UK wind project

Listed Infrastructure investor GCP Infra made a conditional commitment to invest in two new loan notes for about £64m to fund a UK-based wind project. The loan notes, if issued, would be used to finance an investment in the subordinated debt and shareholder interests of an operational onshore wind project located in the UK, the company said. 'The project is in receipt of renewable obligation certificates, a government-sponsored mechanism for promoting renewable electricity generation in the UK,' the company said.
