DP Poland performance in Q1 meets expectations amid marketing boost

DP Poland said trading in the first quarter had been in line with management expectations as sales were boosted by a ramp up in marketing.

'Our marketing campaign featuring Damian Kordas launched in the second half of January and has been effective at driving sales, as has our trial partnership with food delivery aggregator Pyszne,' the company said. 'All 66 of our stores are now on the Pyszne system.'

In the first quarter, the company opened 3 new stores opened, taking the total number of stores to 66, across 30 towns and cities. The company also signed 4 further leases for new sites.
