Hays achieves 6% growth in third quarter net fee income

Recruitment consultant Hays saw like-for-like net fee income increase by 6% in the first three months of 2019 with Germany and its 'rest of world' categories being strong performers in terms of growth.

UK and Australia net fee income both increased by 3% versus 6% from Germany and 9% growth in 'rest of world'. The largest territory in the latter category is France which saw net fee increase rise by 8%. Other components include Spain (+18%), Greater China (+21%) and Canada (+18%).

'Against increasingly tough comparatives, we have delivered another good quarter of broad-based growth, with net fees up 6% and 17 of our 33 countries growing above 10%,' said chief executive Alistair Cox.
